On top of the hip and joint supplements we have been giving our dog Juniper, a 7 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, we have been giving her daily vitamins as well. She has always been a picky eater and every few months we go through periods where she decides that she no longer enjoys the food we had been feeding her. As frustrating as it can be (since there are only so many kinds of food to try) we know that when she stops eating she is not getting the nutrients she needs to stay healthy. However, even when we do go through one of these periods she still wants her vitamins. It is good to know that even when she isn’t getting everything she needs, she is at least eating something nutritious! She loves the taste of them too. If we are even a few minutes late in giving them to her, she does not hesitate to remind us!
